Location

Go to [Site Settings] and find [Visitor Identification]. Upload your Suppression List by choosing the local file. We support CSV format, and the file should contain one column of all the email addresses you don't want to resolve or target.

Result

After you apply the suppression list, those emails will automatically be removed from the Visitors List, and any webhook containing them will be skipped as well.

For example, if a webhook is set up to send visitor data to an external system (e.g., a CRM or marketing platform), but the visitor's email is on the suppression list, the webhook will automatically exclude that email from the data transfer and prevent any related actions from being triggered.

Possible reasons for utilizing the suppression list

  • Comply with Privacy Regulations: Ensure you don't target individuals who have opted out of communication or who are protected under data privacy laws like GDPR or CCPA.

  • Avoid Unnecessary Spending: Prevent ads or marketing materials from being sent to irrelevant or uninterested audiences, saving resources.

  • Improve Reputation: Avoid contacting individuals who could perceive your outreach as intrusive, helping to maintain a positive brand image.
